Ezekiel 44:26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 44 in context

Scripture Focus

26And after he is cleansed, they shall reckon unto him seven days.
Ezekiel 44:26

Biblical Context

The verse states that after cleansing, seven days are reckoned for the person. It marks a period of inner purification performed in consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Ezekiel’s line, the cleansing is not a ritual in space but a turning of consciousness. After the 'uncleanness' is seen and removed, the mind is asked to stand in the new state as if it already were so. The seven days then symbolize the inner period in which the I AM rehearses and confirms a new alignment. You do not conquer from without; you awaken to the truth that you are the one who declares and sees. The outward law becomes the cadence of your inner acknowledgment: I am cleansed; I now stand in holiness; I dwell in the state that sanctifies all that I touch. The reckoning is a gentle, continuous revision of belief until your feelings match your word. When you feel the new being, the seven days are completed in an instant of awareness, and purity becomes your habitual atmosphere, not a distant event.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close eyes and declare, 'I am cleansed.' Then, envision a seven-day inner calendar, each day bringing one layer of purification until you rest in the healed state.
