Ezekiel 43:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 43 in context

Scripture Focus

4And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
5So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
Ezekiel 43:4-5

Biblical Context

God's glory enters the temple through the eastern gate, the Spirit lifts Ezekiel into the inner court, and the house is filled with the LORD's glory. It points to an inner state becoming outward life as consciousness awakens to its divine presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine the temple not as bricks, but as your own consciousness. When the glory of the LORD comes by the gate toward the east, it signals a shift of awareness: a new I AM, your essential you, enters your mind and makes itself known. The Spirit lifting Ezekiel into the inner court is the soul rising into a deeper, more intimate sense of self, a place where the ordinary self is left outside and the divine presence fills the space. As the glory fills the house, your outer life begins to reflect this inward radiance. You are not petitioning God from without; you are perceiving God as your own awakened consciousness. The separation and holiness you sense are simply the conditioning of old states giving way to this new awareness. Practice this: assume the feeling of the glory already in you; revise any unwanted fear by declaring that you are already the presence you seek; dwell in the inner sanctuary until your thoughts, choices, and sensations harmonize with that truth.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine walking through an eastern gate into your inner sanctuary; feel the divine glory filling you completely and radiating outward. Then affirm that you are the glory in this house.
