Biblical Context
Verse 27 states that after a set period, the priests shall offer burnt and peace offerings on the altar, and God will accept the people.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the inner plane, the days spoken of become the cycles of belief you're leaving behind. When these days are expired you rise into a new state, the eighth day, a fresh consciousness in which you, not a ritual, are the priest who offers. The altar is the altar of awareness in your own mind; the burnt offerings are the powers you surrender—fear, limitation, old stories—and the peace offerings are gratitude, alignment, and thanksgiving for the good that is already yours in truth. The Lord GOD's promise, I will accept you, is not a decree from without but the I AM answering the state of your consciousness. As you stand in this new recognition, you are inhabited by the acceptance you once sought. The ritual fades into the recognition that your inner act of assumption brings form into expression; the outer manifestations follow because imagination shapes reality. You are not waiting; you are the state that God accepts.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe into a still center, and assume you are already accepted by God here and now; imagine presenting inner offerings on your mind's altar until you feel that radiant acceptance dwelling inside.
