Winding Chambers of Ezekiel
Ezekiel 41:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 41 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage describes three levels of side chambers stacked one above another and a winding path that rises around the house, increasing its breadth from bottom to top.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the temple as your own inner house, with the side chambers representing successive states of awareness. The wall is the boundary of belief; entering the wall is choosing to redefine what you accept as real. The three tiers—low, middle, and high—show how your attention can be stacked and broadened as you practice. The winding ascent around the house is the flow of imagination moving upward, not by effort but by faith that you already belong in the higher room. As you dwell in the I AM, holiness and true worship become your natural atmosphere, not mere rituals. The breadth increasing from the lowest to the highest chamber signifies the expansion of consciousness as you persist in the awareness that God is present now. Maintain the feeling of already being in the highest chamber; the other rooms feed that experience by discipline, purity, and integrity. In this way, the temple becomes your inner kingdom, where God’s presence is realized as your own awareness.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and declare, 'I AM.' Then imagine stepping into the highest chamber, feeling the spacious breadth of consciousness enfold you.
