Ezekiel 41:2-3

Biblical Context

The passage gives exact dimensions of the temple door and its threshold, marking the boundary into the inner sanctuary. It emphasizes holiness and the presence of God at the doorway.

Neville's Inner Vision

I tell you, the door of Ezekiel is not a mere hinge of wood, but the boundary of your own awareness. The breadth and length described are not external measurements; they delineate how far your consciousness will allow the holy to enter. When you regard the door as a state of mind you inhabit, you begin to see that the inward post, the door itself, and its width are the very angles of your attention. To measure is to observe your beliefs, your feelings, and your imaginal acts, and to revise them until they align with the Presence you call God, the I AM. As you imagine stepping inward, the temple expands to receive that Presence; your world bends to the certainty that you are already in the sanctuary you seek. The numbers become symbols of disciplined inner life: thresholds you consciously keep intact, walls you guard with reverent feeling, and a doorway through which the divine can enter your daily experience. You do not beg for God; you adjust your consciousness to receive Him as your natural state.

Practice This Now

Assume you are the I AM within your inner temple and stand before the door. Feel the space widen and invite the divine presence to dwell with you.
