Inner Temple Chambers Revealed
Ezekiel 40:44-46 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 40 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses describe inner chambers assigned to singers and to the priests, within the temple's inner court. They mark a disciplined arrangement for those who minister before the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the chambers Ezekiel reveals are not stone rooms but rooms of your own consciousness. The singers' chamber corresponds to the living praise you hold in awareness; the priests' chambers correspond to the disciplined attention that guards the sanctuary. When you inhabit the inner court, you are choosing which movements of thought and feeling rule your day. The sons of Zadok, the faithful keepers, symbolize the integrity that comes near to the LORD to minister unto Him. They are the part of you that refuses to let impurity rule the temple of your mind, that keeps charge of the altar of reverence. Attend to the practice: assume you are already in that sacred order, and feel your I AM presence as the sovereign actor. In that state, you are not seeking God outside; you are choosing to awaken to Him within, and your imagination becomes the temple where worship is real. Presence then flows as you maintain purity, singing with joy and serving with unwavering attention.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes and imagine entering the inner sanctuary. Assume you are one of the Zadok priests; feel yourself guarding the altar and ministering to the LORD in your own heart, letting the presence fill you.
