Biblical Context
Ezekiel 40:35-37 describes the north gate with its measured dimensions, the posts, arches, windows, palm-topped posts, and eight steps. It presents a symbolic doorway into sacred space through exact architectural details.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner temple bears a north gate that is measured, not as stone, but as the exact shape of your awareness. When I align with the fifty-by-twenty-five proportions, I am fixing the dimensions of my consciousness—a stable, spacious, intentional mind I can enter. The little chambers, arches, and round windows are the nuances of belief I allow in my thought-life: small rooms for habit, arches for transitions, windows to let the light of truth through. The posts with palm trees declare that growth and beauty rise on the supports of disciplined thought. The eight steps up to the gate teach that ascent is gradual, each ascent a deliberate act of imagination and feeling. By breathing this inner blueprint into my day, the outer scene is seen through a clarified lens; the utter court falls away as I stand prepared within. The I AM is the architect of this measure; imagination is my tool; and stepping through this gate is stepping into the kingdom I already am.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the gate as fixed in your mind, the door you measure into exact proportions. Feel the I AM at the threshold, revise any doubt to fit the blueprint, and mentally ascend the eight steps into your inner sanctuary.
