Biblical Context
Ezekiel 39:7 declares that God will make his holy name known in the midst of his people and will not let it be polluted any longer; the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. It calls for holiness and the cleansing of perception so that presence is made manifest.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel’s oracle you are invited to turn your attention inward, to the I AM that you are. The holy name spoken of is not a distant decree but the living consciousness you already possess, and the pledge that it will be known in the midst of your inner Israel means you stop polluting your mind and rest in holiness. When you assume the state of being holy undivided by fear the outer world begins to reflect that inner sanctity. The heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel, because you have embraced the name as your own and dwell in its truth. The mystery is not outward conquest but inward consistency: you do not seek God; you become the act of God’s name in life by feeling it real here and now. So revise, assume, and rest in the presence until your life bears witness to the Holy One within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, and revise the sense that the holy name is known within you. Then silently affirm I am the holy name and feel its reality in your chest for a minute.
