Breath of Inner Resurrection

Ezekiel 37:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 37 in context

Scripture Focus

5Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 37:5-6

Biblical Context

God promises to breathe life into dry bones, restoring sinews, flesh, skin, and life so that they know the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the dry bones as your fixed beliefs and stale habits. The Lord GOD promises breath entering, and you shall live—this is the life of your I AM awakening within. In this reading, breath is not a distant event but the spiritual life you freely assume. When you imagine the breath filling you, the sinews and flesh are your thinking and feeling becoming aligned with divine reality, and skin represents a renewed sense of self protected by divine awareness. The sequence begins with life entering your inner field, then becoming continuous living proof; you come to know that the LORD is the awareness within you. This is a revision, not a demand. Persist in this inner assumption, and your inner weather shifts—old patterns soften, energy returns, and opportunities respond to your revived sense of self. The bones knit because your consciousness chooses life rather than lack. Remember: God is not out there; He is I AM within you, and resurrection is your present, inner experience that changes how you see and live in every moment.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, place a hand on your chest, and assume you are already alive in God. Feel the breath entering you now and let your inner form reknit into wholeness.
