Ezekiel 37:26

Biblical Context

Ezekiel 37:26 speaks of an everlasting covenant of peace, promising to place and multiply the people and to set a sanctuary in their midst forever.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner world is the place of this covenant. The word covenant of peace is not a contract of law but a declaration of your state of consciousness. The I AM within you agrees to peace as your natural condition, and to have a sanctuary placed in the center of your being. To Ezekiel, the sanctuary among them is a symbol of God dwelling in their midst; to you, it is the point within where awareness abides unshaken by appearance. When you mentally assume this peace, you align your thoughts, feelings, and sensations with that state; you begin to multiply and extend the sense of well being into events, relationships, and health. The practice is simple: feel as though peace already exists, and dwell in the inner sanctuary where no fear or lack can enter. In this light, the external world rearranges itself to match your inner covenant, because imagination creates reality and the I AM is the source of all form. So the covenant becomes your daily experience by repeated assumption grounded in feeling.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling that the covenant of peace is already established within you; affirm that you are the inner sanctuary and that peace governs your life now. Do this daily for a few minutes until the sensation of peace becomes your default.
