Inner Regathering: One Nation Within
Ezekiel 37:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 37 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God will gather the dispersed children of Israel from among the nations into their own land, uniting them as one nation under one king, ending the division into two kingdoms.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Neville's psychology, the 'children of Israel' are not a race but states of consciousness scattered by fear, doubt, and fragments of belief. The 'heathen' are outside appearances—circumstances that seem to pull you from your center. When God says, I will gather them, the I AM in you answers by gathering your dispersed thoughts into one field of awareness—the land upon the mountains of Israel as your solid ground of recognition. The verse's 'one nation' and 'one king' signify a single coherent pattern of belief governed by the inner ruler, the unchanging I AM. There shall be 'no more two nations'—no more competing thoughts of lack and plenty, fear and faith—because you are choosing a unified state of consciousness. The external world will reflect this inner unity as the outer life begins to harmonize, align, and express a singular purpose. This is the Covenant loyalty: remaining true to the one reality within, regardless of appearances; the inner king commands and the outer is made to bow to that sovereignty.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: For a minute, close your eyes and assume the role of the single king inside your inner land. Feel your consciousness as one nation, and revise every sense of division to 'I am one, I reign as the I AM, and all is unified.'
