Inheriting Your Inner Land

Ezekiel 36:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 36 in context

Scripture Focus

12Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.
Ezekiel 36:12

Biblical Context

Plainly, Ezekiel promises that people (states of consciousness) will walk on the land and possess it as their inheritance. It also says you will no longer be bereaved of men.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the I AM, the land is your present state of awareness. When Ezekiel speaks of 'men' walking upon you, think of them as the inner states of consciousness—courage, faith, health, companionship—who will move across the landscape of your life. They shall possess thee: these states take possession of your outward circumstances, shaping them by the inner motion of your imagination. Thou shalt be their inheritance: you are the container, the vessel in which these powers dwell; you are the living inheritance of your own spiritual faculties. Thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men: you will no longer deny the presence of these states in your life; there will be an abundance of these companions rather than loss. The law is simple: whatever you assume mentally, with feeling, becomes your outward experience. If you assume you are the land already possessed by your inner states, your days will reflect that possession; you will see your life filled with the living inheritance of your God-given powers.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and declare: I am the land that God inhabits; my inner states walk upon me, possess me, and are my inheritance. Feel the reality of their presence now.
