Ezekiel 36:10-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 36 in context

Scripture Focus

10And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
11And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 36:10-11

Biblical Context

God promises to multiply the people, rebuild cities, and restore the land. It is a pledge of renewal so they may know the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

Turn your attention from the external geography to the geography of your own consciousness. Ezekiel's 'I will multiply' is not a decree upon lands, but upon your inner states. The house of Israel stands for your present mood, and the promise 'cities shall be inhabited' speaks of vivified ideas and integrated habits; 'wastes shall be built' means barren corners of the mind are re-imagined; 'I will multiply man and beast' implies the multiplication of life energies and constructive thoughts. When you assume this end state—being settled, prospered, fruitful—you begin to live from that end; the present becomes a field that grows into that future; 'do better unto you than at your beginnings': your inner covenant loyalty yields a renewed self that knows the LORD within. You will know that I am the LORD when that vitality is felt as present reality, not distant promise.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I am prosperity made manifest. I dwell now in a renewed inner city of my mind; I am settled, fruitful, and at ease.' Feel the belief until it is vivid.
