Inner Security Ezekiel 34:28-29
Ezekiel 34:28-29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 34 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage promises safety from enemies, protection from beasts, and daily nourishment. It also declares ongoing peace where fear and shame are removed.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the I AM as your true dwelling, not a person or place. Ezekiel’s words become a map of your inner country: you are no longer prey in the theater of fear, for the inner I AM decides who you are. The beasts of the land are just thoughts that try to devour your peace; you watch them dissolve in the light of awareness. A 'plant of renown' sprouts within you—a new idea, a name, a vocation, a nourishing conviction that cannot be consumed or snuffed out by outer conditions. Hunger fades because you realize nourishment flows from the same wonder that births you. Shame, too, loses its grip, since the inner kingdom no longer fears the judgments of others; you are the one who grants and withdraws approval. In this state, you dwell safely, not by outward shield but by inward recognition: I AM the security; I AM the provision; I AM the peace that makes all else possible.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes and assume you already dwell safely and nourished. Feel the reality of I AM as security and nourishment, and declare, 'I AM that safety now'.
