Claiming the Inner Land
Ezekiel 33:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Ezekiel 33:25 rebukes reliance on outward rituals and violence, asking if such conduct can yield the land. It points to a deeper truth: possession comes from the inner state of loyalty to God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, Ezekiel 33:25 is not a history lesson but a map of consciousness. Eating with the blood marks a life fed on fear, guilt, and struggle rather than on the lifeblood of divine presence. Lifting eyes to idols describes the mind fixed on imagined powers outside itself, as if approval or security comes from images rather than from God within. Shedding blood represents the harm done when the mind bears hostility toward others or toward life itself. The land to be possessed is your inner kingdom, a state of consciousness in which the I AM is the living ruler. If you persist in those old habits, you cannot possess the land, for your inner climate contradicts your outward appearances. To possess the land, revise these states by affirming that the I AM is the sole reality and the source of all nourishment. Practice until you feel that you already walk within the land, governed by perfect harmony and unassailable peace.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM as your only nourishment, feeling the inner state of possession now. Revise the old patterns by affirming this truth and feeling it real in every cell.
