Biblical Context
Ezekiel 32:28-32 presents rulers and nations being broken and laid with the slain; a divine terror is stirred in the land, signaling the collapse of pride and external power as ultimate authority.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the 'uncircumcised' ones and the slain are inner states of consciousness—old thoughts I am choosing to release. The Pharaoh within me is a stubborn ego-state clinging to power and fear. When I awaken to the I AM, I realize the terror Ezekiel speaks of is the signal that a false identify is dying, not punishment from without. I Allow those fallen aspects—pride, fear, and control—to be laid low in my inner landscape, knowing that this imagery is a revision of mind. In this inner judgment, the sense of being ruled by external forces dissolves as I dwell in the presence of the I AM. The exile becomes a return, for I am not waiting for some future deliverance but naming and inhabiting my inner sovereignty now. Thus the land of the living is my conscious awareness where I choose peace and unity over fear, and the dream of separation melts away as I hold to this awakened state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, still your breath, and imagine the scene as an inward drama you are rewriting. Assume the I AM presence, feel inner sovereignty now, and revise fear until the sense of external power is dissolved.
