Graves Around the I Am
Ezekiel 32:26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 32 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text names Meshech, Tubal, and their multitude; their graves surround him, all uncircumcised and slain by the sword, having spread terror in the land of the living.
Neville's Inner Vision
Look upon Ezekiel 32:26 as a map of inner states. Meshech and Tubal are not armies but habits of mind—fears that parade their strength in the ‘land of the living.’ Their graves, round about him, symbolize the closure of those thoughts when they are not fed by consciousness. The uncircumcised status marks unholy beliefs untouched by spiritual awakening, the very beliefs that speak loudest in times of crisis. Slain by the sword is the natural consequence of resisting the light within; you have allowed separation to die and so the old form crumbles under your own discerning gaze. Yet the I AM witness remains, unchanged, surveying the decay without judgment. In this moment, you are invited to stop acting from the memory of those fears and instead dwell in the living reality of the I AM. When you acknowledge that you are the one who imagines your world, you can witness these graves recede and the terror dissolve. The whole scene shifts from external judgment to inner mastery: fear dies, life appears, and the land of the living becomes the theater of your awakened consciousness.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM is present now; revise the fear-based beliefs as dead and feel their dissolution. Then dwell in the living presence until that presence feels real.
