In the field of the inner scriptures, the 'strong among the mighty' are your most forceful desires and rigid self-concepts. They speak to the one who would assume control from the realm called hell—the unconscious habits that have run your life. The sword that felled them is the whisper of awareness, the touch of inspiration that reveals a new alignment with God, not as a distant force but as your own I AM presence. When you claim that I AM and dwell there, you no longer serve these old powers; you walk in a renewed state, in which the entire spectacle of death and burial confirms your true sovereignty.
