Read Ezekiel 30 in context

Scripture Focus

9In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.
10Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
Ezekiel 30:9-10

Biblical Context

The passage describes messengers coming from the Lord to alarm the careless Ethiopians, bringing pain as in Egypt, and declares that Egypt's multitude will cease by Nebuchadrezzar's hand.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Ezekiel's vision, the I AM speaks; the ships carrying messengers are the swift movements of thought launched from your living consciousness. To say 'from me' is to affirm that all events arise from inner image. The 'careless Ethiopians' are neglected parts of yourself—fears and habits you have entrusted to external powers. The 'great pain' that comes is the purifying shock as an old pattern yields to a higher order. The echo of Egypt recalls bondage, a familiar dream of limitation you are invited to release. Yet the Lord's promise remains: He will cause the multitude of Egypt to cease by Nebuchadrezzar, the instrument of outer change. In truth, Nebuchadrezzar is the activity of a new state of consciousness taking the field—your decisive act of imaginative power. When you consent to a new ruling idea and feel it real, the old kingdom dissolves, and exile returns to wholeness within. The verse invites you to trust the inner decree until the outward scene aligns with it.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already in the new state of consciousness; feel it now. Imagine sending a ship of awareness to dissolve a stubborn fear and declare it ceased, then let the feeling of it real wash through you.
