Inner Fire Awakening
Ezekiel 30:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The LORD declares that He will reveal Himself by purging the mind's Egypt and destroying its helpers. A day of messenger-visions comes to awaken the inner soul.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel's lines you witness your own inner geography. Egypt is the bondage of a mind convinced by appearances. The fire God sets is not punishment but a purification of such belief; it burns away every image that binds you to limitation. When I, as the LORD in me, awaken, I know that these external terrors are but messages of release, proving that I am the LORD of my consciousness. The 'helpers' of Egypt—old habits, fears, and identifications—are dissolved and become no more than memories dissolving in light. The 'messengers' going forth in ships are the sentinels of awareness moving through your dream to wake the careless Ethiopians—those careless, habitual thoughts that have drifted into sleep. In that day comes pain, but pain in Neville is the sign of transformation; it is the shedding of the old skin and the arrival of a new state of consciousness. Stay with the feeling of being the I AM, and allow the inner plan to unfold, for God is the I that you are, not something outside you.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, imagine a warm inner fire clearing your mind of old images. Silently affirm, 'I am the LORD of my consciousness,' and feel the transformation as the old self dissolves into light.
