The Inner Day Of The Lord
Ezekiel 30:3-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 30 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The day of the LORD is near, bringing upheaval to Egypt and its allies. Old foundations are broken, and many are swept away.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner Ezekiel speaks to the state of your consciousness. The day of the LORD is near because a shift of awareness has begun within you. The sword is not a weapon against persons but a light that divides belief from reality; as you assent to the I AM within, the 'Egypt' of limitation and fear yields and falls. Ethiopia, Libya, Lydia, and the mingled people are the scattered beliefs, habits, and identifications you have held as separate from God. The slain are the old ideas that cannot stand in the light; their foundations crumble as you stop defending them. The time is not a distant catastrophe but a turning of your inner weather toward wholeness. The heathen, the men of the land in league, are the ununified parts of your mind that appear to rule you until you realize you are the I AM expressed. Persist in the feeling 'I AM' and your inner kingdoms reorganize to reflect unity. Fear yields to calm sovereignty as the external world aligns with the inner light. Ezekiel hints at a fulfilled order arising from within when you refuse separation and accept oneness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and feel the I AM now. Imagine a sword of light passing through your mind, dissolving old beliefs, and letting a new inner order establish itself.
