Inner Arm of Sovereign Awareness
Ezekiel 30:24-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 30 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God speaks of strengthening Babylon and breaking Pharaoh, then scattering Egypt; the outer events reveal the LORD as the true power within.
Neville's Inner Vision
God’s words in Ezekiel can be read as a map of the soul. The strengthening of the Babylonian king’s arms and the breaking of Pharaoh’s arms are not about nations, but about inner powers contending for control. The 'sword' placed in the hand of the king of Babylon is the sharpened discernment you give to a dominant belief, a conviction that seems to hold your attention and shape your life. When that conviction is allowed to stand, other images of limitation (Pharaoh’s) groan before it and are pressed into service as teachers rather than masters. Yet the vision moves toward release: I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; they shall know that I am the LORD. This is the turning toward the I AM within, the awareness that governs every scene. The scattering of the Egyptians represents the dissolving of old identifications—fears, habits, stories you told yourself—and their dispersion makes room for a single life, one God within you. The climactic recognition is not conquest of others, but the awakening to the LORD inside, the constant presence of the I AM.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM as your present state; revise the dominant belief that names itself king in your mind; feel it real as you sense the old 'arm' power dissolving and the LORD within rising.
