Inner Inheritance Unfolded
Ezekiel 28:24-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 28 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of removing hostile threats and gathering Israel, leading to sanctified rest in a land given by God, with safety and knowledge of the Lord.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel 28:24-26 the outer gathering and quiet land are your inner rebirth. The pricking briar and the despising circle around you symbolize stubborn beliefs that haunt you; when the I AM gathers and sanctifies, those hostilities drop away. The promised land is your own state of consciousness where you dwell safely, plant, and build; it is not a future place but a present alignment with awareness. When you know that you are the LORD, your God, you understand that all judgments elsewhere are only inner judgments you are letting go. As you inhabit this truth, fear loosens its grip and confidence grows; your inner soil becomes fertile, and the houses and vineyards you imagine are already yours in feeling. In this light, exile ends because the mind has returned to its rightful sovereignty.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, assume I AM now dwelling safely in my promised land—build the inner house, plant the inner vineyard, feel the day’s security as a natural state. Do this revision daily, allowing the feeling of ‘landed’ abundance to push out every thorn of doubt.
