Inner Zidon Redeemed
Ezekiel 28:21-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 28 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks against Zidon, announcing that the Lord will judge and sanctify her. It also promises Israel's gathering, restoration, and secure, prosperous dwelling in their land.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Ezekiel 28:21-26 the speaker reveals a map of consciousness: Zidon is not a city to mend but a state to undo—a stubborn belief that divides you from your true self. When you set your face against it, you are declaring that the I AM within will be glorified in your inner landscape. The judgments are not punishment but mental revisions, clearing away pricking briars and thorns of fear so the scattered house of Israel—your dispersed thoughts and desires—can be gathered into one homeland. Sanctification happens in your inner sight, visible to the nations of your fellow thoughts as you claim safety, dwell in your land, and plant vineyards of purpose. As you persist, the inner exile ends; you return to your native vitality, and you learn to live with confidence, building, growing, and knowing you are the LORD your God.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes. Personify Zidon as a stubborn belief in lack within your mind. Then declare softly, 'I am against you, Zidon; I am the I AM of my being. I gather every scattered thought, sanctify them, and dwell safely now—building, planting, and thriving in renewed life.'
