Knowing the LORD Within

Ezekiel 26:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 26 in context

Scripture Focus

6And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 26:6

Biblical Context

The verse states that daughters in the field will be slain by the sword, and through this event they will know that I am the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of Ezekiel’s line as a description of a radical inner shift. The ‘daughters in the field’ are the many stray states of consciousness you have scattered in your life. The sword denotes a decisive cutting away of old identifications by your imagination. When you persist in the inner conviction 'I am the LORD,' these parts stand revealed and integrated, and the outer world begins to show proof of your inner state. You do not fight the sword; you accept it as the act of consciousness waking to itself. The moment you know yourself as the LORD within, you cannot fail to see the LORD in all.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume the line 'I am the LORD within me now.' Feel the certainty traveling through your chest and spine; when fear or lack arises, revise it to the unwavering presence of the LORD, and dwell there until it feels real.
