I Am Within: Vengeance Transformed

Ezekiel 25:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 25 in context

Scripture Focus

17And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
Ezekiel 25:17

Biblical Context

The plain sense is that the Lord will execute great vengeance so that all will know He is the LORD.

Neville's Inner Vision

Let us consider the word vengeance as the energy of a mind turning from illusion to truth. God is the I AM, the awareness you are. The 'great vengeance' is the inner impulse to release the old you—the stubborn beliefs and sense of separation—so the true self can come forth. The foes in the text are not people, but the Philistine attitudes within your consciousness. When you refuse to identify with lack and insist that you are the king of your inner world, you awaken to the I AM as LORD; that awakening itself is the remedy, dissolving fear, resentment, and division. This is not punishment but the return of attention to the truth that you are God in expression. The moment this inner recognition lands, outer appearances rearrange to reflect your new state, and 'they' know, in you, that the LORD is present.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the I AM as your present reality, and revise any sense of separation into unity. Feel it real that you are the LORD of your inner world, and let the old 'vengeance' dissolve into calm power.
