Biblical Context
Ezekiel 24:25–27 describes a day when the people lose their strength and the things they value; those who escape will come to hear the prophet, and you will speak, becoming a sign so they know the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the scripture, the day of the people’s loss is not punishment but a turning of your inner state. The “strength,” “joy,” and “desire of their eyes” are conditions of consciousness that bind you to a former self. When these outer images fall away, the escaping parts of you seek a word from the deeper self—your own I AM, your higher consciousness. The moment you speak, you cease being dumb because your awareness awakens to itself; you become a sign that the Lord is present within. This is the inner restoration: not a future event but a present realization that you are the I AM behind all thoughts and appearances. Your identity shifts from lack to witness, from fear to the knowing that the divine presence is in you now. As you accept this, old judgments dissolve, and the world begins to reflect a steadier, truer you—the sign that proves God within is alive and active in your life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the day you are stripped of the old image you carried. See yourself approaching your inner prophet and hear the truth you need to hear. Then, openly state within, I AM, speak through me, and notice how the sense of separation dissolves as you become the sign the verse promises.
