I AM Inner Judgment
Ezekiel 23:46-49 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 23 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage presents judgment and purification upon those clinging to idols and lust, culminating in the awakening that the Lord GOD is the true governor within.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner theater of your mind, a company of thoughts and habits gathers, drawing your attention to itself as if it were life. Yet the text speaks not of external punishment, but of your own awareness acting as governor, bringing up what no longer serves you to be removed and spoiled. When you identify with the I AM—your living, aware presence—the 'stones' and 'swords' represent the repeated, decisive glance of your consciousness that breaks the spell of old idols. The sons and daughters are the outcomes of your inner actions—the projects your mind broadcasts into life. The burning of houses signifies the demolition of stale beliefs and structures built on desire. Thus lewdness ceases from the land as you cease entertaining unclean patterns, replacing them with reverence for the one governor within. You come to know who you truly are—the Lord GOD, the I AM—through the inevitable fruit of aligning with your inner sovereignty. Recompense here means restituting your inner economy by refusing the old paths, not external judgment, and living as the aware, unconditioned self.
Practice This Now
Assume the role of the I AM and symbolically clear your inner landscape: see the company of old thought-forms dissolving, then feel the new alignment with sovereign awareness as you breathe in the truth that you are the Lord GOD.
