Inner Judgment and Endurance

Ezekiel 22:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 22 in context

Scripture Focus

13Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
14Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
Ezekiel 22:13-14

Biblical Context

Behold, the verse speaks of God striking at dishonest gain and blood within, and then asks whether the heart and hands can endure judgment, for the Lord has spoken and will act.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the scene not as history, but as your inner state. The smitten dishonest gain and the blood in the middle of thee become depictions of your own hidden motives and passions when faced by the I AM within. The LORD here is not a distant judge, but the living awareness you call I AM—the consciousness that measures motive and power. Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? These days are the interior days of testing when thoughts produce consequences and events mirror your inner weather. When you feel the sting of deceit or grasping for gain, you are being asked to rise in fidelity to truth. I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it means your inner decree already exists in consciousness and is only awaiting assent. To endure, assume a new state now: pure motive, sound action, unwavering courage. Rest in the conviction that your life must align with the truth you affirm, and watch the outer world respond to that inner decision.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and assert I AM the integrity of my life. Feel the inner decree settling in your bones and imagine your heart enduring and your hands acting in truth, right now.
