Stand and Speak Within Ezekiel
Ezekiel 2:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Ezekiel is told to stand on his feet, and the Spirit enters him, after which he is sent to a rebellious people. The moment marks an inner call to present transformation.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this inner drama, standing on your feet is a maintained state of consciousness; the Spirit entering you signifies the awakening of the I AM within. The instruction to be sent to a rebellious nation becomes a message to your own resistant patterns. The line about their fathers and transgression points to inherited habits of thought you have endured. You are not primarily addressing others but awakening your own mind to fidelity and courage. The voice that speaks is the I AM speaking through you, giving you authority and a vision to address the inner Israel with compassion rather than punishment. When you assume this state, the old self is invited to listen; you become the vessel through which transformation is made concrete. The verse teaches that your inner mission arises when you stand in awareness and invite the Spirit to lead your decisions and revisions.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner state now: 'I am the I AM; the Spirit speaks through me.' Identify one recurring belief and revise it by declaring its opposite, then feel that change as real in your body.
