2And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
Ezekiel 2:1-2

Biblical Context

God commands Ezekiel to stand on his feet, and when he does, the Spirit enters and enables him to hear the message. This moment marks a shift where inner awareness is lifted to receive instruction.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, Ezekiel’s stand is a turning of the inner state. The decree to stand on thy feet is a choosing to anchor attention in the I AM, the unchanging awareness you are. When the word says I will speak unto thee, the Spirit entering him becomes an inner movement of realization—an ascent within that lifts the whole being and sets him upright in consciousness, so the message can be heard. The 'I will speak' is imagination taking form as lived truth; hearing is not external sound but the conviction that a higher truth now speaks through you. The setting of his feet signifies a reorientation of your inner posture, making room for guidance to emerge as inner insight. Stand tall in the conviction that you are the I AM, and permit the inner voice to reveal the path. In this reading, prophecy is the manifestation of a state-change—a deliberate alignment of consciousness, not a distant event.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Stand tall in your mind, breathe deeply, and affirm, I AM. Then listen for the inner voice and accept its guidance as present truth.
