Inner Lioness, Outer Kingship

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Ezekiel 19:2-3 uses the lioness and her whelps as a metaphor for an inner state that births powerful habits, which can become either protective leadership or prideful domination.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, Ezekiel is not speaking of a mother in a land far off, but of the state of consciousness you habituate in your own heart. The mother lioness is the I AM in you, a fierce, protective image that lies down among the lions of your thought-world, nourishing whelps—little beliefs, gnawing cravings, petty prides—that grow within. That imagery shows how a single dominant state spawns a litter of habits. One whelp becomes a young lion, and learns to catch prey; in your dream of life, this translates to a mindset that seizes opportunities, asserts itself, and devours others with power born of pride. But remember: you do not confront history; you revise your inner scene. The true Kingdom of God is a state of consciousness, not a place you travel; it is the I AM sovereign in you, capable of re-nourishing whelps toward wisdom, justice, and compassionate kingship. When you stand in the inner throne as the observer, you discover that the lion’s power serves not domination but rightful safety and leadership. Your outward world conforms to your inner story.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM presence as the lioness mother; see the whelps becoming noble lions who guard the realm with wise restraint. Revise the scene by declaring: I AM the sovereignty of God in me, and through me all states harmonize into love.
