Read Ezekiel 19 in context

Scripture Focus

10Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.
11And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
Ezekiel 19:10-11

Biblical Context

Thy mother is described as a fruitful vine planted by waters, growing branches and stature. The image signals that life and leadership come from an inner state of awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

All Ezekiel is the field of your inner life. The mother who is 'like a vine' is the image of your living state of consciousness—planted by the waters of awareness, producing fruit and many branches. The 'strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule' are the firm convictions and decisions that arise when you dwell in the sense of I AM, the ruler within. Your 'stature exalted among the thick branches' is the inner certainty that grows into outward authority, honor, and influence as you align your imagination with that I AM presence. The multitude of branches points to the extended life that flows from a single robust state; your world expands as your inner vitality expands. Therefore, nothing in Ezekiel’s line is external to your inner kingdom: you are the vine, the waters, and the gardener. By tending to your inner state with constant imagination, you cultivate a life that reflects strength, dignity, and leadership.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and picture your inner state as a lush vine in thy blood, fed by the waters of awareness. Then declare in the present tense, 'I AM the vine that bears fruit and rules in my life,' and dwell with that sensation until it feels real.
