The Inner Trees of Sovereignty

Ezekiel 17:24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 17 in context

Scripture Focus

24And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done it.
Ezekiel 17:24

Biblical Context

Plainly, Ezekiel 17:24 says God governs outcomes: the tall are brought down, the low exalted, the green dried, and the dry made to flourish. The LORD’s word is spoken and enacted.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Ezekiel's image, the high and the low, the green and the dry, are inner states subject to your sovereign I AM. In Neville’s lingo, God is not out there commanding weather but your awareness, the I AM, returning to itself through imagined decree. When you assume a new state and feel it real, you enact the Lord's spoken word in your own heart: the high tree's swagger dissolves, the humble branch rises, the green vitality dries to reveal a stronger bloom. The outer world mirrors the inner movement; the trees declare what your inner world has accepted as true. The mechanism is simple yet radical: you revise your present belief until the inner sensation of the desired state is dominant. The LORD has spoken and has done it within you when you persist in the feeling of the wish fulfilled. So, stand in the I AM, and in your imagination repeat the decree until it can no longer be doubted. Then the field—your life—will know the new order.

Practice This Now

Assume the state you want as already yours and feel it real now; spend a minute in the sensation of the fulfilled wish, then revise any opposing thought until it yields to the feeling.
