Excluding Vanity Prophets

Ezekiel 13:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 13 in context

Scripture Focus

9And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 13:9

Biblical Context

God declares that those who spread vanity and lies will be removed from the assembly and the land, so that you may know the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine God as your I AM, the living awareness that witnesses every thought. Ezekiel's call to lay hands on vanity and lies becomes a practical inner decree: remove such voices from your inner assembly. The assembly of my people is the company of beliefs I permit to govern my life. When a thought arises that claims authority yet serves fear or illusion, I declare it unfit for entry into the land of Israel—the sacred space within where truth resides. Then I replace it with a truer image of myself, aligned with the I AM and felt as real. In this act I awaken to sovereignty; I know the Lord GOD is the ruler of my inner world, guiding what I perceive and how I live.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Identify a troubling thought you’ve treated as authority. Declare it unfit for your inner assembly, then revise it into a truth about your divine I AM and feel it real.
