Inner Vision vs Foolish Prophets
Ezekiel 13:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It denounces the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and claim to have seen truth, exposing their lack of authentic inner vision.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here, Ezekiel's warning is not about literal seers but about states of consciousness. The 'foolish prophets' are those mind-states that pretend to guidance while they emanate from ego and fear. They follow their 'own spirit'—the spontaneous thoughts and imaginations that arise when you are unwatchful—rather than the I AM, the quiet, undivided awareness that perceives as God. When you mistake your shifting mental pictures for reality, you declare you have seen something, yet you are blind to the eternal, unchanging source within. The remedy is to become the observer, to assume the state of I AM here and now; to revise any impression that does not originate from this perfect inner vision; to see every situation as already resolved in your interior sense of truth. Practice the habit of feeling the truth of your desired state as if it already exists, letting that conviction wash away the 'prophetic' voices of fear. In this way you replace false vision with the only true sight—the I AM seeing through you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: When a restless thought arises, assume the I AM as the author of your life, revise the scene to your desired truth, and feel it real.
