End of Vanity Visions

Ezekiel 13:23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 13 in context

Scripture Focus

23Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Ezekiel 13:23

Biblical Context

Vanity and false divination will end as God promises to deliver His people; their deliverance will reveal that the LORD is indeed present and in control.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the verse as a description of your inner state. Vanity—the craving for external divination—represents the mind clinging to images and appearances. The moment you claim 'I AM delivered now' and rest in the awareness that you are the LORD, the apparent danger dissolves. God's promise to deliver His people is a promise to the consciousness that has believed itself separate. The deliverance is not a future event but a shift in identification: you cease to identify with fear, with the crafts of false seers, and you identify with the I AM within. When you assume that you are the LORD, you know it by the change in tone of your thoughts—less seeking, more stillness, a quiet knowing that the so‑called hand that held you is only belief. You shall know that I am the LORD by the felt sense of sovereignty, immediacy, and unity with all that is. The unseen is made seen by the inner act of awakening to your true self.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the state 'I AM delivered now' and feel it as real in your chest. Revise every thought of bondage to outer hands and rest in the awareness of the LORD within.
