Inner Peace Mirage

Ezekiel 13:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 13 in context

Scripture Focus

16To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 13:16

Biblical Context

The verse calls out prophets who promise peace for Jerusalem. God declares there is no true peace.

Neville's Inner Vision

Whenever you hear the prophets of 'peace' for Jerusalem, notice they speak from a mind seeking outer conditions to prove safety. Ezekiel's God-saying is a reminder that peace is not something to be granted from outside, but a harvest of your inner state. In your own consciousness, the claim 'there is peace' without the felt presence reveals a peace that never lands. The reality you live is your feeling of 'I AM'—the inner governor who interprets all events. In this reading, assume a consciousness that already rests in peace. See Jerusalem as your inner city of mind, presently quiet, presently secure, because I AM, the God within you, has decided it so. Do not seek outer prophecies for peace; revise your inner scene until it matches your desire. When you imagine 'It is done,' feel the stillness as you now reside in it. The outer may not yet declare peace, but the inner world is settled, and that is the sign your world follows.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and declare 'I AM peace' as the inner governor. Revise your inner scene to a settled Jerusalem and feel the calm as present reality.
