Inner Wall Sign

Ezekiel 12:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 12 in context

Scripture Focus

5Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.
6In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.
7And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
Ezekiel 12:5-7

Biblical Context

Ezekiel is told to act out a signal by digging through a wall and carrying his belongings, in view of the house of Israel, to symbolize captivity and the coming return.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold, the wall is not a boundary but a belief. In Ezekiel, the I AM invites you to treat the outward act—digging and carrying—as a sign that the inner state you desire is already formed. The wall's darkness marks your former limitation; by carrying your 'stuff' into daylight you acknowledge and transform it, and the twilight moment stands for the threshold where old appearances yield to the new reality you imagine. Because God has set you as a sign to the house of Israel— to yourself—the practice is to imagine with felt certainty the end you seek and to feel it real now, until your outer life reflects that inner decree. By choosing this inner vision, you become the sign that captivity is over and Return is present within you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end is already true. In imagination, picture yourself stepping through the wall of limitation, carrying your new state in daylight, and feel the I AM announcing your freedom now.
