Emerging From the Inner Caldron

Ezekiel 11:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 11 in context

Scripture Focus

7Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
8Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel 11:7-8

Biblical Context

The verse paints the city as a caldron in which the slain lie, and promises that God will bring you out from among it. It also names fear of the sword, and declares that a sword will come upon you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through Neville's lens, Ezekiel 11:7–8 reveals the mechanism of inner change. The caldron is your present state of mind heated by fear; the slain are those old identifications you still believe belong to you. God’s plan to bring you forth is not about national events but about consciousness stepping out of its own heat. The sword you fear is the sign of inner motion—fear acknowledged, fear dissolved. When you understand that the 'city' exists only as your inner scene, you can perform the only work that matters: revise your sense of self until you feel you are already beyond the furnace. Assume the I AM stands outside the caldron and is bringing you into a new state of awareness. As you persist in that assumption and feel it real, the inner movements that looked like punishment loosen their grip, and the apparent external sword loses power to disturb you. The outward reference serves as a mnemonic for inner transformation: once you are conscious of being the I AM, you are free, and your 'slain' belongings are simply lifted into light.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes; assume you have already emerged from the caldron, with the I AM waiting beyond it. Feel the relief as fear dissolves into awareness.
