Inner Renewal in Ezekiel
Ezekiel 11:14-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God tells Ezekiel that the exiled Israelites will be gathered, purified from detestable things, and given a new heart and spirit so they may walk in divine statutes and be His people.
Neville's Inner Vision
All the language of Ezekiel is a description of your inner state. The Lord’s gathering is your awareness drawing all scattered thoughts back to the center where the little sanctuary of God resides within. The scattered lands represent divided opinions; yet God promises to assemble you and give you the land of Israel—your inner alignment to the divine order. The removal of detestable things and abominations is the loosening of entrenched beliefs that keep you from feeling your true nature. The lines about a new heart and a new spirit are not merely future events but shifts of consciousness: a heart of flesh that can be felt, and a spirit that is willing to stay present. Walking in statutes and ordinances becomes an inner obedience to a living law of love and integrity. When you are faithful, you become God’s people and He becomes your God, a oneness born of awareness. The warning to those who cling to old appetites shows the consequences of misalignment, yet renewal remains the ever-present invitation to return to your true self.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume the feeling that you are gathered from all scattered parts into one heart. In that feeling, declare 'I AM One with God' and imagine walking in a new inner land, a covenant within you.
