Inner Wheels: Living Chariots

Ezekiel 1:15-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 1 in context

Scripture Focus

15Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
16The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
17When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
18As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
19And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
21When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
Ezekiel 1:15-21

Biblical Context

Ezekiel foresees living creatures moving with wheels, the wheels guided by the Spirit; the vision reveals inner alignment between perception and action.

Neville's Inner Vision

This vision is a map of consciousness. The four living creatures are the four facets of your being—imagination, feeling, decision, and action—moving together under one intention. The rings and eyes are your inner sight: awareness that looks upon every thought and feeling with full attention. The spirit in the wheels is the indwelling I AM, the Presence you name God, ready to drive your world when you permit it to be the thread that binds your inner state to outer events. Notice that the creatures do not turn when they go; this is inner discipline: alignment precedes movement. When the Spirit decides to go, the wheels go; when your inner I AM says Yes, the world answers. Thus your present reality is the outward proof of your habitual inner assumption. Change the inner motion and the outer scene will follow, for you are the mover of your own chariot.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine a wheel within a wheel at your center. Affirm that you are the mover of your life and feel the state you desire already real.
