The Storm of Inner Freedom
Exodus 9:13-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God commands Moses to demand Israel's release; a severe hailstorm demonstrates divine power and judgments. Those who fear the Lord act, while those who ignore the word remain exposed; the storm devastates the fields, cattle, and trees, revealing the consequences of resisting the higher will.
Neville's Inner Vision
Pharaoh is the stubborn ego inside you that says, 'I will not let go of this belief or pattern.' The LORD is the I AM within, the awareness that you are more than appearances. Moses is your awakening imagination, rising early in consciousness to speak with authority: Let my people go, that they may serve me. The plagues and the hail are inner movements of belief—dramatic weather in your psyche that reveals what you truly identify with. When you stand in the knowing that there is none like the I AM in all the earth, you begin to see that power is not punishment but signal and invitation. The command to bring indoors what is in the field is a cue to withdraw attention from external appearances and shelter your awareness in the truth. The storm clarifies: the one who fears the word aligns with higher possibility; the one who regards not the word stays in the field of limitation. The inner master record remains faithful: your awareness is divine, and through it you move from bondage to freedom.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: For the next day, assume you are already free: declare 'I am free now' and feel the release as your inner storm subsides; repeatedly pronounce 'Let my people go' to any limiting belief and bring your attention inward, imagining the sky clearing and you standing in peace.
