Exodus 7:3-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Exodus 7 in context

Scripture Focus

3And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
4But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
5And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
Exodus 7:3-5

Biblical Context

God will harden Pharaoh's heart, multiply signs, and deliver Israel by great judgments. Pharaoh shall not hearken, so the inner plan unfolds and the LORD is known.

Neville's Inner Vision

Exodus 7:3–5 speaks to the inner drama of consciousness. Pharaoh’s hardening is the stubborn insistence of a long-held belief; the signs are the inner demonstrations that appear when you align with the I AM. The Exodus of Israel represents a radical shift of energy from bondage to freedom within your own life. When you resist the old, fixed self, the inward decree of God moves through you, and outer scenes begin to reflect that shift. The Egyptians coming to know the LORD marks your growing awareness that the entire drama is a manifestation of your mind. The sequence teaches that by stopping the search for proof in the old structures and returning to the truth of who you are, the so-called great judgments dissolve into a calm certainty: you are already delivered in the one Mind called God.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of liberation as already true. Feel the I AM moving through you, and linger in the scene of your exodus until it registers as real.
