Exodus 7:11-12

Biblical Context

Pharaoh's magicians imitate the signs with enchantments, and their rods become serpents. Aaron's rod swallows theirs, pointing to a deeper power at work.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the scene as a meditation on states of consciousness. The 'Pharaoh' and his magicians are not distant sorcerers but your own doubt and the habit of fear that run the show when you forget who you are. The 'rod' is your awareness taking form in belief; the serpents are the competing currents of suggestion that arise as you look to outward signs. When Aaron’s rod swallows theirs, imagine the I AM swallowing the false impressions of lack, limitation, or threat. The victory is not a clash of forces in the world, but the recognition that your inner truth is undefeated, regardless of appearances. In this light, Providence is not a distant event but your continuous inner state: you correspond to the reality you hold. If you insist that the outer world must change first, you keep feeding the serpents; if you revise and feel it real from within, the illusion dissolves, and the inner rod remains supreme. Practice the assumption until it feels natural, and watch the outer signs align with your assumed truth.

Practice This Now

Assume: I AM the power that swallows every illusion of lack or fear. Feel it real now by envisioning Aaron's rod swallowing the serpents, and rest in the certainty that my inner truth governs all appearances.
