Biblical Context
God speaks to Moses in the land of Egypt and identifies Himself as the LORD. He commands Moses to tell Pharaoh everything He says.
Neville's Inner Vision
Exodus 6:28-29 is not merely a historical moment but a map of your inner life. The LORD who speaks is the I AM within you, the steady consciousness that names itself and legitimizes your authority. When He commands, 'speak thou unto Pharaoh all that I say unto thee,' Pharaoh represents your outer resistance—habit, fear, limitation—facing the banishment of bondage only as you assume the speaker's authority. Moses becomes your awakened self, listening to the divine word and repeating it with certainty. To inhabit this scene is to practice the quiet act of revision: you declare the truth that has already been spoken by consciousness, and the outer world begins to respond in kind. Trust that the presence of God is not a distant event but your immediate assurance that you are already free within. The covenant loyalty is fidelity to that inner decree until the outer scene aligns. Rest in that truth, and the external struggle loosens as you obey the inner command.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and repeat, 'I am the LORD,' as your own consciousness. Then speak inwardly to your Pharaoh, declaring all that the I AM speaks through you, until the sense of limitation yields to presence.
