Read Exodus 6 in context

Scripture Focus

12And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?
Exodus 6:12

Biblical Context

Moses tells God that the Israelites won't listen to him, and he questions how Pharaoh will listen if his own speech is imperfect.

Neville's Inner Vision

Exodus 6:12 is not a complaint about rhetoric; it is a confession of inner state. The children of Israel symbolize the beliefs and habits that presently speak through your consciousness, and Pharaoh stands for the outer world testing what you have accepted as true. Moses’ remark—uncircumcised lips—points to a belief in limitation, a covenant not yet made with the I AM within. If you insist that others must respond before you feel heard, you remain bound to the old vibration. The inner revolution begins when you stop seeking validation in circumstance and recognize that your hearing is both cause and effect: you will hear outward results only to the degree you have imagined them inwardly. The I AM answers to unwavering conviction, not to complaint. So assume you are the speaker who already possesses final authority in the matter, and declare the truth of your worth and influence here and now. Your lips are not uncircumcised; they are the seal of a consciousness that commands reality, and every outer voice is simply replying to your inner song.

Practice This Now

Practice: Close your eyes, assume you are already heard by the inner crowd; feel your self-image aligned with I AM; let that feeling 'hear' through your lips and imagine the outer world reflecting your inner conviction.
