Exodus 6:10-11

Biblical Context

God speaks to Moses and commands him to tell Pharaoh to release the Israelites from Egypt.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville’s ear, Exodus 6:10–11 is an inner summons: the LORD is not a distant king but the I AM within you, the awareness that can speak truth to your own mental Pharaohs. Pharaoh represents the habits of fear and resistance that keep you bound to limitation. Moses is the awakened self, the living idea of you that hears the command and steps forth into the inner court to present the vision. When the command comes, it is not urging you to change the outer world so much as to change your inner state: you enter the chamber of your own mind and declare the freedom that already exists as possibility. The “let the children Israel go” is your decision to release all the parts of you that you have chained to limitation. By heeding the voice, you align with the higher self that calls you forward, and the apparent opposition yields to the power of a defined, recognized freedom.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume the role of Moses and speak to Pharaoh as your own stubborn belief. Declare in your heart, ‘Let my Israel go,’ and feel the release as if it is happening now.
