Inner Deliverance From Oppression
Exodus 5:6-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Pharaoh imposes harsher labor and withholds straw, keeping the Israelites’ brick quota intact, scattering them and beating those who fail.
Neville's Inner Vision
Pharaoh in this account is the stubborn belief in limitation that screens your true power. The removal of straw is not a mere change of supply; it is a symbol of how the outer world tests your inner state. The people are driven to work, yet the real pressure is the conviction that supply comes from without and that you are defined by the tasks set upon you. In Neville's language, the only 'brick' that matters is the realization you build within the I AM: you perceive as if you already possess the energy, time, and resources you claim. When the decree says go gather straw, it invites you to stop looking outside. Your true straw comes from your imagination, from the inner faculty that calls forth form from formlessness. Do not listen to the vain words of lack; instead, assume your end. Your daily labor becomes a conscious act in a liberated state, not a punishment. The deliverance is accomplished in awareness, the moment you change the state, the outer signs align.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise: I am the God of my own life; I have all that is needed now. Feel the truth and breathe into a sense of liberty as you continue your day.
