Biblical Context
Exodus 40:9–11 commands anointing the tabernacle, its vessels, the altar, and the laver, setting them apart as holy.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the outer rite of anointing, hear the inner invitation to awaken your temple. The tabernacle stands for your mind’s dwelling; the altar for your will and motive; the laver for perception and cleansing. The anointing oil is not a ritual oil but awareness—the I AM that makes all you touch sacred. When you allow this inner oil to flow over the temple and its vessels, you consecrate your thoughts, feelings, and actions to the divine purpose you seek to realize. Sanctification becomes a decision of consciousness: you choose to reverence your inner life, free it from fear, and treat each moment as worship. Holy is not an external label but the alignment of your life with your true nature—the sense that you are seen, held, and present by God within. Practice presence, and you will sense the divine not apart from you but within your breath and attention.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine a vial of oil of awareness touching the inner tabernacle; see it saturate mind, will, and emotions as holy. Rest in the felt sense of 'I AM' and know your inner temple is sanctified now.
